ENHANCING THE MUSEUM EXPERIENCE VIA AUGMENTED REALITY

A PROJECT FULL OF HURDLES.

THE PROBLEM

Myself and some fellow UX designers were tasked with solving the 'poor visitor experience' at a History Museum's dinosaur exhibit, by creating an Augmented Reality experience that is both educational & interactive.

The problem was originally presented to us during our MSc, where the only requirement was to research & synthesise a User Requirement Specification (URS) under the MoSCoW framework. However, we decided to continue the project independently. This case study details the MSc-supervised research stage, followed by the final product design & delivery.
